About Us

Sophie’s passion for all things slime, combined with Isabelle’s natural drive for organisation and management, began in 2016 when they were just 11 and 13 years old. What started in their mum’s kitchen quickly transformed into a mini slime factory. Sophie began making slime at home and selling it to friends at school, eventually launching a small Etsy store to meet growing demand.

The turning point came after Sophie attended a friend’s birthday party where guests made slime together. Inspired and confident she could create a better experience, Sophie returned home with an idea that would spark the beginning of a successful business journey.

Pioneering a unique concept at the time, Sophie and Isabelle came together to plan the logistics of running a slime-focused party entertainment business. Their very first event was a party for their cousin in November 2017—and from that moment, the bookings never stopped.

From hands-on workshops and school fetes to birthday parties and pre-made slime kits, their venture—originally known as Sophie’s Slime Store and later rebranded as Sophie’s Slime Factory—has traveled across Sydney bringing slime fun to children and families alike.

What began as a mobile business has now grown into a permanent space with the opening of their first location in Rouse Hill, where customers can learn how to make and customise their own slime. As the business continued to grow and the demand for immersive experiences increased, Sophie’s Slime Factory expanded once more—this time to a new, larger premises in Castle Hill, specially designed to deliver the ultimate slime experience in a vibrant and comfortable setting.
